VOCULABRY plays an important role in competitive exam. In banking exam english section is becoming more difficult day by day. To score well in english section you have good command over VOCULABRY. You have to increase your command over it by enhancing the reading skill and learning new words. Now, reading habit can be made reading the newspaper on daily basis and understanding the meaning of different words as well as improve your language skill. 

To help you out in this we have started , "DAILY VOCAB DOSE" series from the newspaper wordlist which solely help you in enhancing your VOCULABRY section. It will help you in understanding the commonly used words with there meaning synonyms and antonyms.


     MOST IMPORTANT VOCULABRY WORDS    


1. ELAN {NOUN} - जोश

SYNONYMS - liveliness, gracefulness, vigor, zest, energy, sparkle, fanaticism, sprightliness.
ANTONYMS - apathy, ennui, lethargy, motionlessness.

Use in sentence - cricket match ended in elan and style.

2. CONTOUR {NOUN} - रुप - रेखा

SYNONYMS - outline, shape, form
ANTONYMS - crooked, straight.

Use in sentence - the map showed the contour of coastline.

3. TO THE FORE {PHRASE} - सर्वोपरि

SYNONYMS - paramount, most important
ANTONYMS - minor, secondary, trivial

Use in sentence - a number of low budget independent films brought new director and actor to the fore.

4. SOBERING {NOUN} - गंभीरता कि ओर

SYNONYMS - serious, severe, alerting
ANTONYMS - fiery, haphazard

Use in sentence - it is sobering to realize that it is not a problem.

5. PRECURSOR {NOUN} - अग्रगामी

SYNONYMS - sign, signal, preview, forgoer.
ANTONYMS - successor, byproduct, inheritor

Use in sentence - A movie preview is a standard Precursor before the presentation of a feature film.
