                       VOCABULARY   

 VOCULABRY plays an important role in competitive exam. English section of Banking exam is becoming more difficult with the time. To understand that you should have good command over VOCULABRY section. To help you out in this we have started, "DAILY DOSE VOCAB" series from the newspaper wordlist which solely help you enhance your VOCULABRY section. Also it will help in understanding the context of sentences as well as improve the area of communication like speaking reading and writing etc.

Nobody can cram the meaning of the word in one go. To help you out in this we have started DAILY VOCAB DOSE series. This will present the word used in newspaper editorial section with the appropriate meaning synonyms and antonyms etc.

       MOST IMPORTANT VOCULABRY      



1. BACKDROP {NOUN} - Lie behind or beyond, serve as a background to.

SYNONYMS - Background, ground
ANTONYMS - focal point, focus, heart, foreground center

Use in sentence - the novel unfold against a backdrop of war.

2. IMBROGLIO {NOUN} - उलझन

SYNONYMS - confused or complicated situation, difficulty/predicament.
ANTONYMS - clear, simple.

Use in sentence - the treaty of the state ended IMBROGLIO that has kept the two country at war for over sixty years.

3. REINFORCE {VERB} - सर्मथन करना

SYNONYMS - augment, enlarge, bolster
ANTONYMS - diminish, undermine, enervate.

Use in sentence - some organization were moved up to reinforce the front line.

4. ARMISTICE {NOUN} - युद्ध विराम

SYNONYMS - concord, pacification, accord
ANTONYMS - dispute, fight, strife.

Use in sentence - both the parties discussed their differences and finally agreed to call an armistice.

5. RHETORIC {NOUN} - शबदाडम्बर

SYNONYMS - bombast, discourse, elocution
ANTONYMS - quiet, conciseness.

Use in sentence - As the election are just one week away, the rhetoric on both parties are building.

6. TANGIBLE {ADJECTIVE/NOUN} - 

SYNONYMS - obvious, concrete, perceivable
ANTONYMS - unreal, abstract, imaginary

Use in sentence - police need tangible evidence to take legal action.
